Lupo owns high quality 60 m splitting machines which enable cutting of almost the entire foam assortment into foils of various thicknesses. Foils are wind up on cardboard cores and so form rolls.
Foils are cut of 60 m foam blocks and also of short blocks by so called peeling process. The equipment of the splitting machines and qualifications of the staff enable the exact, effective and quick cutting and fulfilment of the most pretentious demands of our clients.

Application

Automotive industry
A great part of rolls are sold to automotive industry. We offer polyether and polyester foam for flame lamination and adhesive lamination, highly air-permeable foam for impregnation and foam for gasketing. Our foams are used for seat covers, door linings, roof linings, gaskets.

Packaging
For packaging section we offer foam foils in rolls. Foams are of low specific densities and low thicknesses. They are used for packaging of high class furniture as they provide physical protection and at the same time varnish evaporation from the surface.
Polyurethane foam packaging represents an excellent protection during transportation because of physical properties of the foam.

Benefits of polyurethane foam packaging are the following:
• complete protection of the product; the foam is durable, elastic and it protects the products even during long transportation
• area efficiency; optimal transportation because of low weight, resistivity and flexibility
We offer foams of low specific densities and low thicknesses in rolls and cut products of various shapes. Very often it is used for wrapping furniture of high price range (besides physical protection it provides also varnish evaporation from the surface), household and other electric apparatus and products of glass and ceramics, toys, etc.

Shoe industry
We offer foams of high densities in rolls for the shoe industry. Our foams are used in manufacturing of sports footwear and free time footwear of upper price range. We offer also reticulated foam of higher densities in rolls with high air permeability. This characteristic is important for the shoes to be properly aired.

Building and construction
We make selfextinguishing polyester foams, corresponding to standard UL 94 - HF1. These foams have densities of 25 kg/m3 - 35 kg/m3.

Textile industry
For lamination with various kinds of textile we produce polyester foams of low densities i.e. between 21 kg/m3 and 25 kg/m3 . Characteristics of the foam provide excellent joint and possibility of transportation in compressed form.

Technical characteristics

Main technical characteristics of rolls arise from the foam characteristics themselves and therefore define also their application. A wide range of physical characteristics enable foam application for different purposes. Thermoforming enables laminating with various types of textile and synthetic leather; air permeability enables impregnation etc.
In further manufacturing high-level productivity and economic efficiency can be achieved by cutting foils and rolls of various thicknesses and lengths. Transport costs become optimal by different manners of packaging.
